On May 10 we are running the first of many international Green Energy Career Days with partners working to decarbonise the atmosphere and green technicians around the world. Several are planned, starting with our partner Esprit in Tunis and sponsor by the Green Power Company (GPC).Â
The reason we are bringing companies and universities together is so that students can learn about the various opportunities available to them as the next generation of green technicians. Each Career day is structured in line with greentech.training’s policy of delivering highly compact value and knowledge for immediate impact. Following a 90 minute meet and greet with partnering company representatives, a 30 minute panel discussion with the companies will students to understand the different career paths available to them as a decarboniser of the planet.
They will learn about the requirements, skills and some of the international companies actively supporting the energy transition. The events, which are currently planned for multiple countries throughout 2023, will provide opportunities for students to network with professionals and companies in their field of study while giving companies the exclusive chance to meet with up-coming talent. As part of our outreach, we also invite young professionals and trainees from Engineering Associations and trade schools.
Collaborative Partnerships: the Green Energy Career Days are also designed to foster relationships between universities and companies, which can lead to future collaborations on research, internships, and other initiatives. This in turn can enhance the reputations of those attending by demonstrating a commitment to students’ career development.
Overall, the event will provide students with the opportunity to learn, grow and explore interests, while allowing universities and companies to work together to foster the next generation of professionals in the field.
