International Repowering of Wind Turbines

Ten years of experience packed into three hours of in-depth, first-hand knowledge enabling participants to bring a first generation turbine to a new international location smoothly and efficiently.

WIND TURBINE repowering

In Europe, around 38 GW of onshore wind capacity will reach the end of its normal operational life in the coming years. After that there are three options: lifetime extension, decommissioning or repowering. Led by the experienced Wind Energy Engineer and consultant Roman Boos, this 3,5 hour intensive Insight Seminar and Q&A session is designed to give electrical engineers, campaign planners, project managers, installers and technicians insight into the communications tools required to manage an international wind turbine repowering project. By the end of the seminar, attendees will have received ten years of experience packed into three hours of in-depth, first-hand knowledge enabling them to bring a first generation turbine to a new international location smoothly and efficiently. As a takeaway, participants will have a clear step-by-step communication and organisational guide in tabular form for their own international energy project management.
