As the world accelerates toward a green transition, the demand for skilled workers in renewable energy, environmental management, and climate-related sectors is rising exponentially. By 2030, an estimated 20 million new green jobs will emerge globally, driving progress toward net-zero goals and green-economy initiatives. In this pivotal moment, greentech.training is proud to join forces with Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) and the Coalition for Green Skills Pathways to ensure that refugees and vulnerable populations are not only included in this workforce but are empowered to thrive within it.
The coalition, launched at the Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Centre in October 2024, unites global leaders from government, industry, and education with the shared mission of creating actionable pathways for refugee talent in the green economy. This collaborative effort bridges the gap between emerging green labor markets and displaced talent, equipping individuals with the critical skills needed to support sustainable projects worldwide. By integrating refugees and select nationals in host countries into green-transition training programs, the coalition strengthens global sustainability goals while addressing labor shortages in critical areas.
Key Objectives
By aligning with these objectives, greentech.training contributes its expertise in green skills training and workforce mobility to help build a sustainable, inclusive talent pipeline for the industries shaping our future. This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering equitable access to opportunities while addressing the need for skilled labor in the global green transition.
